When was the last time you waited for the Lord to guide you about making a decision? Or, when was the last time you trusted Him even when you didn’t understand why He had allowed certain things to happen to you? See… When we get into a tight spot, or we have a burden, we seem to forget about all the Lord has done for us in the past and how He has always been there. We forget the many times He has pulled us out of the mess we were in. We forget the many blessings He has bestowed on us and just focus on our wrong idea that He has forgotten us. He hasn’t. He knows what each of His children are going through and He cares. “I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps” (Psalm 40:1-2).
