Thought (from today)

You ever feel like something horrible is going to last forever? You may be going through an illness or something, and when we try to think about it with our feeble minds, it does seem like the problem will never go away. Think about it, though. If you have lived for any length of time, you have had other things happen that seemed to drag out forever but eventually went away. Nothing here on earth lasts forever. This earth won’t even last forever. I don’t know what you are going through, but I do know that God has the answer. “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience” (James 1:2-3).
